12 Weeks!

Hello! If you haven't heard the news...I'm pregnant! I am due October 8th. So as not to bombard people on facebook with what happens every week, I will be updating here about my pregnancy. I don't want to be one of those "hey here is my bump every other day" people. I'm not all about bump pictures right now because I am still not convinced I have a bump, maybe I just ate too much food today. According to several of my coworkers I am just shaped different now.

We told the boys this past weekend, which was cool because they were both excited! Riley says if it is a boy we should choose Mason, and Buddy says if its a girl he is naming it Ella. He is apparently under the impression he gets to pick the name :)

Anywho, I have stolen these surveys from my sister's friend, Jen (thanks!). Who knows if I will be diligent enough to actually update every week. Judging by my blog in the past, probably not.

12 Week Survey!

This officially starts my weekly pregnancy surveys! I hope you enjoy reading along with my progress along the way.

How Far Along: 12 weeks

Size of baby:Your baby is, by this time, the size of a lime and weighs 1/2 ounce. (Length: just over 2 inches, head to bottom.)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I haven't gained anything yet, though my stomach is bigger.

Movement: Naw

What I miss: up until today, I missed not feeling like i needed to suck in and tighter fitting clothing but now that I've told people I am good on this.

Sleep: Sleeping pretty good. I am up to go to the bathroom a couple times but not much more than usual

Symptoms: Best if I keep something in my stomach or I get queasy. And it is absolutely necessary that my stomach is full before I take my prenatal at night or I will get sick.

Cravings: nothing specific, mostly when someone mentions something I think "oh, I want that!" Mexican food is something I've been craving lately, but I always like Mexican!

Best Moments this week: Announcing that we're preggo! After my appointment yesterday we called my grandma and grandparents in Florida. Calling my Uncle Rex was my favorite - he was just so excited it made me tear up.

What we are looking forward to: April 22, when we find out the gender! Also, getting to see the baby again. We didn't have an ultrasound at 12 weeks, we did hear the heartbeat, which was great, but I just want to see the little nugget!
