This weekend Marcus and I went to St. Petersburg to go see the Red Sox play Tampa Bay. We were worried that we wouldn't get to go because Marcus was not feeling well. He ended up feeling better so we headed down Friday afternoon. He got a little sick on the way, but we made it by midnight.
Saturday morning we woke up and went to Mazzarro's in St. Pete. Mazzarros is this amazing Italian market...they have the best cookies and bread EVER. No lie. Its a good thing I don't live in St. Pete because I'd be broke and fat going there all the time :)
After we left Mazzarros we went to the mall to get Marcus a Red Sox shirt (he forgot his Ortiz jersey in effingham). By the time we left the mall it was POURING. We wanted to go to the pier, so we headed there and parked outside and had a little picnic in the car. We got fresh mozzerella, salami and bread from Mazzarros so we pretty much just ate that. We braved the rain and ran inside. Unfortunately it was not quite as enjoyable because of the rain, so we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's.
Grandpa made some awesome cube steak and piergoi's and then we headed to the Red Sox game! The tampa bay stadium is an indoor field...which is awesome because after the rain it was hot and humid. The game was really good...the Red Sox came back and tied it in the 9th inning. It went into extra innings and the Ray's pulled it out, but we still had a great time.
We got home around midnight and in the morning Grandpa made an awesome breakfast for us. We headed out pretty early and ended up getting a flat tire...had to buy a new tire because mine had a WRENCH in it. Yes, a wrench. Anyway...we are finally home! Had a wonderful weekend seeing my grandparents and seeing the Red Sox. Next time I hope we can stay longer :)

Labor Day weekend
This past weekend Marcus and I traveled to Atlanta to hang out with my family and celebrate birthdays. We had so much fun seeing everyone and hanging out...I wish had seen more people, but everyone has such crazy busy lives!
Saturday I got up and went shopping with my mom. We ran a few errands and then went to Wild Wing with Marcus and my Dad. We enjoyed our lunch and then Marcus and I headed downtown to meet Katie and Trey at olympic park. There were so many things going in Atlanta (UGA game, Braves game, DragonCon...etc) that they had a block party and O.A.R came and played.
After Marcus and I rode a bus over to Turner field and met up with Nick and Stephanie! We were right on the foul line and had a great time...even if the Braves lost. We had a good time catching up and hanging out.
Marcus had a lot of firsts this weekend...he rode MARTA and went to underground Atlanta. He had never been on a train or a bus like the shuttle we took to the game.
The next day we went to my nephew Thomas' birthday party. Well, maybe I should say my nephew Spiderman's birthday.
Well that's it for now. More pictures than words, I think. We are headed to St. Pete this weekend to go see a red sox game so I will add more after that.

25 on the 25th
On Thursday I turned 25. Life is so different from how I always thought my life would be at 25...but I cannot complain! I always thought that I would be married and about to have children by now. Life has certainly thrown me curve balls but as Rascal Flats said, God blessed the broken road. I figure now is the time to start writing down what I'm doing and the changes that are going on.
Yesterday we celebrated my birthday. Marcus made me an AMAZING lunch. Brie stuffed pork chops, sauteed with apples in an amazing sauce, italian potatoes and corn.
Last night we continued the birthday celebration with some friends at Jalapenos and then went to James and Ashley's house to continue the fun...here are some pictures :)
Anyway, that's it for now!
