Cheesy beef pie

Mmm...cheesy beef pie.
Some of you may know it as "cheeseburger pie".

Whatev's, it's amazing.

If you are not familiar with this little treat, here is the recipe. It has been a hit with literally everyone that has tried it that I've made it for.

First, ground some beef.

Line a pie pan with a pie crust. I like those Pillsbury ones near the biscuits.

You will need an eight oz package of cheese and either tomato soup or tomato sauce. I didn't have sauce, so I used soup.

You will also need two eggs. Separate one egg yolk from its white. Add the whole egg to the white, and keep the yolk for later.

Once you have drained your beef, add about half a can of the tomato soup.

It should look something like this, once you add the soup, plus the 2 egg whites and yolk.

Pour your meat in the pie pan. spread it out evenly.

Add your cheese. You can do more, you can do less. 8oz is a lot, but we like cheese.

Like, we should have a sign that says "In this house we will serve the Lord....and eat cheese"

Moving on...............

Add the top of the pie, feel free to make yours prettier than mine :)

Add your left over egg yolk on top.

Spread it around, preferably with a brush, not a tiny fork like me.

I should probably get one of those nifty brushes.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.

And enjoy!! No, it's not pretty. But it sure is tasty!
